Charles (“Chuck”) M. Meyer is the president and a managing partner of Santen & Hughes.  His practice focuses on business law and commercial litigation.

Chuck works closely with owners of privately held businesses concerning setting up businesses, buying/selling businesses, business succession planning, contracts, debtor/creditor rights, real estate, and estate planning.  Chuck also has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of civil litigation in all state and federal courts, including contract disputes, real estate, probate, shareholder/partner disputes, and collections.  His practice also involves significant representation of debtors and creditors in business insolvency matters.

Having a background in both business and litigation gives Chuck an advantage drafting documents in plain language that is both concise and easily understood.  Chuck is a good listener who asks questions to make sure he understands the facts and the client's objectives.  He is comfortable handling complex situations and bringing about creative resolutions.  Chuck has long held an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Chuck has been involved in numerous non-profit community organizations. In 2003, the Cincinnati Bar Association awarded him the John W. Warrington Community Service Award for extraordinary volunteer community service. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board of The Corporation For Findlay Market, the non-profit corporation that operates historic Findlay Market. He was a member of Leadership Cincinnati Class 34 in 2010-2011.   He has served on numerous boards of non-profit organizations.
